Mark Anderson

Mark A. Anderson has been practicing law in Southern California since 1981. While his main office is located in Escondido, Mr. Anderson also has an office in Valley Center and is available in Orange County most Thursdays.
Mr. Anderson has been conducting estate planning seminars for nearly eighteen years. Various churches, parachurch ministries and corporations (including Forest Home Christian Conference Center, Emmanuel Faith Community Church of Escondido, Heritage Village Retirement Center, Morgan Stanley and Edward Jones) have sponsored the seminars and benefitted from his expertise in wills, trusts and tax law. He has addressed audiences across the country and has been the guest of numerous radio programs. In 2006, he was asked to speak at the annual conference for Operation Mobilization in Edinburgh, Germany. Mr. Anderson has helped thousands of individuals achieve greater security, maximize charitable giving and be better stewards of their wealth in the most cost effective manner possible.
Mr. Anderson passed the State Bar exam in 1981. In 1983 he decided to focus his practice on Estate Planning. Since that time, Mr. Anderson has embarked on a consistent course of continuing education which led to his acceptance in the graduate tax program of the University of San Diego School of Law where he earned his Diploma in Tax Law in the spring of 1990.
Mr. Anderson received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Irvine in 1976 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1979. Having served on several boards, Mark has developed a solid reputation in the community as an energetic and enthusiastic leader. Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Elder board at Ridgeview Church in Valley Center and is a past President of the Valley Center Kiwanis Club. He recently participated in short term mission trips with FaithQuest Missions to Malawi and South Africa.
Mark is married with four adult children and is an enthusiastic grandfather of three adventurous boys. He enjoys traveling, golfing, hiking, and days at the beach with his family. He resides in Valley Center, California with his loving wife, Cathey, and trusty dog, Murphy.
Cale Beck
Attorney at Law
Cale D. Beck, Esq. has been working at Anderson Estate Law for eight years. His primary responsibilities include the drafting of estate planning documents, legal research and probate administration.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from Claremont McKenna College in 2001, and shortly thereafter he began his tenure at Anderson Estate Law. He received his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2008 and was admitted to practice law in California in December 2008, going to law school at night while working full-time during the day.
An avid golfer, Cale enjoys weekends on the course and spending time with friends and family. He lives in Del Mar, California.
Maren Miller
Office and Trust Administrator
Maren Miller has been working for Anderson Estate Law for ten years. She began her employment as a file clerk and has held many different positions since that time. Her current primary responsibilities include overseeing the Trust Administration cases, bookkeeping and office management.
Maren attended the University of California at Santa Barbara and Westmont College. She obtained her Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Administration in 2004.
Maren is happily married to Tim. They have been blessed with three wonderful boys: Kieran (age 8); Taiten (age 8); and Caden (age 7) who keep them incredibly busy! In her spare time, Maren enjoys going on walks, golfing and spending time with her family.
Mavany Cowan
Administrative Assistant
Mavany Cowan is a native of Escondido. She began working for Mr. Anderson in 2003 and has enjoyed getting to know the details of Estate Planning. Mavany brings 15+ years of secretarial and customer service experience to the office.
Mavany is a single mom of two wonderful children, Scotty and Rylie. Besides her desire to be the best mom she can, she also has a strong passion for music and singing. She has been blessed with the opportunity to be one of the worship leaders at Ridgeview Church in Valley Center.
